About Us
Our mission as a philanthropic, non-profit organization is to celebrate and sustain the rich art of quilting by preserving its traditions, cultures, and history within our community. By supporting initiatives that promote the continuation of quilt arts and techniques, we empower our members to refine their craft.
The Empire Quilters Guild was founded in 1981 by Rusty Hedrick. With just ten members in tow, the intent was to promote the love of quilting through education and fellowship. Today, we honor Rusty by continuing her vision, and supporting local charities.
